Character Appreciation

Even though my children are getting older, they still appreciate the characters that make Disneyland so special. By far the best way to see and greet them is during the character breakfasts and/or lunches and dinners because you get to spend a little more "quality" time with them as they come around each table. We rarely wait in lines that pop up out of the blue as characters walk out to their stations for autographs. I've found that other children get pushy (including their parents) and that is tiresome to deal with when your own children are patiently waiting to hug their inspirations from cartoon world. Here Darby got to dance with Dale.

Then Chip came to visit.

Everyone lights up when Minnie is around, even Austin mustered a grimace of a smile.
Tigger played, as tiggers do...
And Dale came back around to get a good photo with the kids.
Everyone needs a Fairy Godmother...
...even Papa and Grandma!

Anthony taught Chip how to find gold in the caverns of his head...

Which he then showed him how to balance on...

Anthony then showed Chip where his head was...

And Chip appreciated the lessons!
